Anita Trip
Anita Trip is a licensed physiotherapist who graduated from the Physical Therapy Program at the University of British Columbia in 2001. Prior to this she completed a degree in Kinesiology at Simon Fraser University in 1997.
Since then Anita has completed many continuing education courses including: Level 3 manual therapy and manipulation levels with the Orthopedic Division, vestibular rehabilitation, concussion management, and in many specific areas including: low back, pelvis, neck, mid back (thorax), shoulder and foot. She is also certified by the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute, and is a Certified Gunn IMS Practitioner.
Anita has worked during her physiotherapy career in private practice clinics primarily in the orthopaedic setting. She enjoys working with clients to achieve their goals of optimal function with a special interest in dance and atheletic sports. She particularly endeavours to achieve the body’s optimal muscle balance through muscle release with soft tissue and joint techniques, IMS, and with prescription of corrective exercises.
Outside of work Anita enjoys a multitude of athletic activity. Trained in dance most specifically ballet in her youth; she likes to participate in aerobic and dance classes, attend the gym, and more recently you can find her paddle boarding in the summer months.
